Entertainment

My favorite source of entertainment is just talking to friends. Talking about life, other friends, homework, God, stress, or just random things that pop up. You get to know them better if you spend more time with them, talking to them. That connects to my mission statement in the getting to know more people part. I also could possibly grow closer to God, depending on what I'm talking about with them.

I'm adding more, again. =P

I'll stop adding goals to my mission statement after this (probably). One more thing I want to accomplish is to not care so much about what people think of me. There's so much drama and rumors and so much EVERYTHING at this school I don't think there's away you can get away from it all unless you're just extremely talented (if so, teach me, i hate it!). Anyway, everybody's has their own thing, every teenager in this school is probably just trying to figure out who they are, who they wanna be, and what they are supposed to do with it. Little things that some people do different than others shouldn't get looked down upon by the ones who do differently. Different is better. If everyone was the same, life would be boring. That's kind of off topic though. Anway, once again, I don't want to care so much about what they think. I'm my own person, I do my own thing. If they can't accept that, they should just get over it. I shouldn't try to change so that people will like me. Just because I'm not barbie doll thin, model gorgeous and amazingly talented at everything doesn't mean that people should tell me what to do differently to make people like me more. I can't please everyone, so I don't really try.

Volleyballs over!

Our last volleyball game is on Sunday. Like I said in my mission statement, I wanted to be a better player this year. Lately, I've been playing in the JV team's games so I've been getting more practice. I think I've at least improved a little bit since the beginning of the year. :) yay. I know I'm still not the best, but at least I'm getting better.

yay. i have fun at concerts. :)

Last night, Ms. Lynelle took Karen, Kenji, Jumi, Dan and I to a Relient K concert in Baltimore. It was crazy super fun. There were a few somewhat unknown bands before them, but they were actually pretty good. I didn't know all of the songs, which was kind of upsetting, but i knew some of them. Me and Karen are already pretty close, but I think it helped me get to know Jumi, Kenji, and Dan a little more. That helps with the part of my mission statement that i want to get to know more people. :)

New goal!

I'm officially adding onto my mission statement (yes, again). The new addition is meeting tons of new people. I guess that will help me be less judgemental, also. Because of that, I have the topic of Barn party last weekend. I got to know the people that I go to school with better, and I even talked to some people from California for a bit. It was really fun by the way. :)

My bad experience

One night after school I was getting ready to study for my test that I had the next day. My teacher had given us a study guide a few days earlier but I'm a procrastinator so I waited and I decided to cram the last night. I looked in my bag, and there was no study guide. I had forgotten it at school, along with my book. My test was 1st period the next day, so I didn't have time to study at school either. Oops. I failed. =( After that, I realized that I shouldn't procrasinate and also be more responsible with my work.

My Legacy

I guess having a legacy is kind of important for some people. It helps you think about who you want to be in life, and some of the goals you want to accomplish. Over all, I just want people to remember me as being a good person but, I guess these little things are important too.

  • being able to make people smile

  • brightening every ones day (even when I'm having my own problems)

  • being content with most things

  • having a fun loving spirit

  • being kind

  • loving God

  • putting everything I can into everything I do

  • caring

  • a good listener

  • always thinking of other people before myself

  • a good friend

  • very open to other peoples thoughts and ideas

  • easy to get along with
