Church over homeleave
Over home leave, I went to the church that I used to go to. My cousin, my brother and I were all sitting in a pew behind an old family friend. Before church started I'd said hi to him and asked him how he was and things like that. Another lady was sitting on the other side of the pew that he was sitting in. She had a little boy with her, I'm guessing it was her son, and he looked like he was about four. J.R. is the mans name, and he's kind of old. He always brings a pillow to church and a thing to rest his back on so he doesn't have to sit on the hard pew. The little boy started getting really fidgety and he was probably really bored. He got up and there's little string things on the side of his cusion (so you can tie it to a chair I'm guessing), The boy walked over there and grabbed one of the strings on it. He just kind of held it for a minute and then all of a sudden ripped the cusion out from behind him and ran back over to his mom. She gave him a look and tried to take it from him. He wouldn't give it back. J.R. looked surprised, and upset, but he didn't look mad at ALL. I found that to be pretty amazing. Who wouldn't get mad? You could tell by his eyes that he wasn't mad in the least. I would get mad if I were him. I would've at least gotten a little frustrated, but he didn't. He just sat there and listened to the sermon.

What I'm Thankful For
"Be thankful for what you have; you'll end up having more. If you concentrate on what you don't have, you will never, ever have enough." -Oprah Winfrey
-Life itself. It's amazing. Sometimes it's rough, and sometimes its the easiest thing in the world, but it's worth it.
-Dakota (my brother). He always tells me the truth and his opinion on anything I ask him to. Whether it's about school, boyfriends, friends, or just anything really. He's funny, and he's totally better than yours! :)
-Kaitlyn. She's my best friend, always has been. She knows me just as well as I know myself. She knows my flaws and my weaknesses and pretty much every other little detail. She's been with me through EVERYTHING. She's always there when I need someone. She brings out the hyperness of me even further.
-That Kaitlyn doesn't hate me for moving away. haha. She didn't even get that mad. :)
-Karen. Yay! She makes me happy. :) She's fun, and she's an AMAZING friend!
-That homeleave is tomorrow. I haven't been home since September and I miss it like CRAZY!
-Olivia. She's an amazing step mom. She treats me just like her daughter and she never tries to replace my real mom.
-Knowing how to write. I get so much out by writing it all down. I would be so stressed if I couldn't get my feelings down on paper at certain times.
-Time. Time to talk to your friends, time to do things that need to be done, and just time where you have nothing to do and you are completely carefree and not rushed in the least.
-My dad. He's my dad, and that's enough. He works extra so I can come to school here.
-Music. It's inspiring and uplifting.
-My dad's parents. AH! I love them. They cook for us, and clean for us, and do every little thing to spoil us, but they do it out of love and we love them for it. :)
-The mall. It gives me things to do.
-My cell phone (when it works!). I can keep in touch with old friends and my family.
-Dan. He makes me happy inside. :)
-That I have money. I need it.
-That Christmas is almost here. It's my favorite holiday.
-That my parents haven't turned my room into an exercise room like they threatened to when they didn't want me to leave and come here. That one's pretty self explanatory.
-Hot water. I hate cold showers.
-Snow. It's gorgeous when it snows and it's fun to play in.
-Extra credit. I need it!
-That I didn't have to pay for all the clothes I bought at the mall today.
-That my family is so close. Life would be so much harder without them always being there for me.
-That I decided to come here. It's changed me for the better.
-MSN and Myspace. When my phone isn't working I can talk to my friends that way. :)
-Homeleaves in general. We need breaks from school and everyone there sometimes.
-Sales at the mall. My dad doensn't have the money to pay for what I want on normal prices.
-Summer. You don't have to freeze all year around, just half of it.
-Junior frosties at Wendy's. They're adorable and they make life worth living. haha.

Renweb
Renweb is very helpful if you want to know what your grades are but it's also very helpful in many other ways.
You can check your homework on it. So, in case you don't remember what you had to do because you left your assignment book at school, you can just look on there and see what you have to do.
I hardly ever check mine, unless I think I might have a low grade in a class. I'll start using it to make sure I got all my homework now. I should probably start checking my grades more often too, to know if I forgot to turn an assignment in, or something like that.

Win-Win :)
This weekend Karen, Kenji, Dan and I were going to go out to the mall, and then go back to my aunts to watch a movie. We'd been talking about it all week, and we were totally excited. We were going to go on Sunday at around 3:30. Saturday night we asked Mrs. West what time we would need to be back Sunday night, because we would be over at my aunts and we weren't sure since it wasn't exactly strict study hall. She said 7:30, so we'd be there for worship. Karen and I both freaked out because we weren't going to have time to even watch the movie. That was pretty much the whole point of the night. So we went and talked to Aunt Sheri and asked if maybe we could spend the night there, or she could ask Mrs. West if we could stay later or something. She talked to Mrs. West and they decided that we could come back at 8:30, so we'd miss worship, but we'd still be there for study hall. The four of us (Karen, Kenji, Dan and I) decided to go an hour earlier too, so it ended up being about the same amount of time that we got to hang out, and we were still following Mrs. West's "curfew". Win for us, win for her. :)

Just saying..
The other day, I added more to my mission statement about how I would like to care less about what people think of me. I think I've been accomplishing that ever since I came here. Yes, I still care, and yes, I most likely always will, but I care a LOT less than I did at my old school. If you think about it, that's kinda weird because I've known most of the people I hung out with since at least kindergarten, and the only one I wasn't self consious around (usually) was Katie (my best friend, who I've literally known since birth). So I'm glad I'd already started working on that, even before I actually sat down and thought about it.

Entertainment
My favorite source of entertainment is just talking to friends. Talking about life, other friends, homework, God, stress, or just random things that pop up. You get to know them better if you spend more time with them, talking to them. That connects to my mission statement in the getting to know more people part. I also could possibly grow closer to God, depending on what I'm talking about with them.

I'm adding more, again. =P
I'll stop adding goals to my mission statement after this (probably). One more thing I want to accomplish is to not care so much about what people think of me. There's so much drama and rumors and so much EVERYTHING at this school I don't think there's away you can get away from it all unless you're just extremely talented (if so, teach me, i hate it!). Anyway, everybody's has their own thing, every teenager in this school is probably just trying to figure out who they are, who they wanna be, and what they are supposed to do with it. Little things that some people do different than others shouldn't get looked down upon by the ones who do differently. Different is better. If everyone was the same, life would be boring. That's kind of off topic though. Anway, once again, I don't want to care so much about what they think. I'm my own person, I do my own thing. If they can't accept that, they should just get over it. I shouldn't try to change so that people will like me. Just because I'm not barbie doll thin, model gorgeous and amazingly talented at everything doesn't mean that people should tell me what to do differently to make people like me more. I can't please everyone, so I don't really try.
